System Center Operations Manager Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability
This security vulnerability, designated as CVE-2024-43594, affects Microsoft’s System Center Operations Manager (SCOM). It involves an elevation of privilege issue, which could allow an attacker with limited access to the system to gain elevated privileges on the compromised system. This could potentially lead to unauthorized access, data manipulation, or other security risks. The vulnerability underscores the importance of implementing proper security controls and monitoring to prevent exploitation.
